\n\t\t\t\t-All cars must be pre-1949, and motorcycles must be pre-1947.
\nAll makes and models are permitted: USA, Europe, and others.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t- The general appearance of the vehicles as well as the appearance of the drivers must be \u201cRacing\u201d and \u201cperiod correct\u201d.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>

\n\t\t\t\t- Look: All drivers (cars and motorcycles) must wear ``period-correct`` clothing (clothes may not be original, quality reproductions are sufficient). This specifically applies to pants, jerseys, and jackets.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t- Vintage running gear is welcome and appreciated.

\n\t\t\t\t- The engine must match the chassis and frame by being Pre-47 for motorcycles or Pre-49 for cars.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>

\n\t\t\t\t- For American cars, newer ``Flatheads`` are accepted (pre-1953).\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>

\n\t\t\t\t- No \u2018Y block\u2019 and Overhead.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>

\n\t\t\t\t- No bodywork, part or component on the vehicle or in the engine compartment and cockpit must be loose. Everything must be secure.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t- Vehicles must run on gasoline only (no nitro or racing gasoline above 98 octane).\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t- The fuel hoses must be up to standard and correctly attached, as well as the entire electrical harness.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t- No fluid leaks are allowed except for small oil leaks on older vehicles (provide something to protect the beach for your vehicle parked in the paddock).\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t- Car cooling radiators must contain water (not coolant).\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>[vc_empty_space]

\n\t\t\t\tEXTERIOR OF VEHICLES:\t\t\t<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t- NBR is a beach race, so all vehicles must have a racing look and feel. No fenders on Hot Rods.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t- Race numbers must be visible and painted manually (on a metal plate for motorcycles or on the bodywork for cars).\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t- Race numbers will be submitted by the drivers in the 'Race Entry' and validated. In the event of a duplicate, the Normandy Beach Race may propose changes.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t- Vehicles must be in good working order, especially with regard to brakes. Only drum brakes are accepted. No disc brakes.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t- The seats must be securely attached to the chassis and frame.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t- Even if at the origin and date of the vehicles seat belts did not exist, for the NBR seat belts will be permitted as well as protection bars.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t- The chassis and frames will be inspected (no cracks or bad welds).\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t- On cars, a fire extinguisher within reach is mandatory.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>

\n\t\t\t\t- The headlights must be removed or the glass protected with tape.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>

\n\t\t\t\t- The fuel tank must be secure and properly closed with a cap.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>

\n\t\t\t\t- All wheels will be checked and secured.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_class=”mkdf-reverse-order”][vc_column width=”1\/12″][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”5\/12″][vc_column_text]Vehicle selection will be made via the registration form and according to the process below:[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Cars and motorcycles will be pre-validated based on your photos and description.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Once validated a payment of 85 \u20ac will be asked to participant and a formal entry package will be sent to you with all details and agenda of the NBR, as well as indications on how we will all have fun together.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Reimbursement of registration will only be possible if the cancellation is the responsibility of the organiser or linked to an obligation to cancel the event by the competent authorities.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Our selection will balance the participants over the 2 days because the capacity per day is limited.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]A mandatory vehicle inspection will take place on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in front of Ouistreham Town Hall for drivers registered for Saturday or both days.<\/p>\n

For those registered for Sunday only, the inspection will take place early that morning. The vehicle inspection will be carried out by our teams in the presence of the driver.<\/p>\n

Non-compliant vehicles will be refused entry.<\/p>\n
